Another way to remove the old energy that gets in our muscles and bones is massage. Having a massage will do wonders for your body, mind and spirit. I believe that having a massage once a month should be mandatory for all human beings. When we get stressed out our muscles tend to tense up. Our whole body is full of stressed out energy. You may say, I’m not that stressed out, I don’t need a massage. You would be surprised that most often you do. We are souls living in these shells called bodies and we need to keep our energy flowing. Stress in the body with no release causes blockages in your energy fields. We all experience a certain level of stress in our lives every day whether we ask for it or not. Having a massage releases alot of that stored up old energy that gets in your bones, muscles and tissue. Releasing this energy releases the stress. As a result you are a more relaxed and happy soul when your massage is complete. I am usually a little light headed when I leave my massage as your body needs to rebalance itself. The masseuse will instruct you to drink plenty of water after a massage. This will prevent you from feeling dizzy. The light headedness is from the toxins being released from your body. Toxic energy.
I am often concerned about where the negative energy went. My hope is that all experienced masseuses know how to clear themselves. Please be careful if you are massaging a friend or a partner. You don’t want to take on all their stuff, their energy. Make sure you clear yourself after you massage someone.
Here’s a funny story. My husband came home from work after having a stressful day with negative energy attached to him. I was so anxious to give him a massage to release his stress that I did not protect myself. I took on all of his stuff. As a result I became cranky and irritable. He was fine, happy go lucky. We both laughed when we realized what had happened. It was apparent that I took on his negative energy. This has happened to me more than once as I just wasn’t paying enough attention. I am more aware of how the Universal Energy operates and make sure I protect my energy field. You need to be able to clear yourself of any negative energy that you may have taken on while working on someone. Visualize protection around yourself before you give a massage and take a sea salt bath in the evening to clear yourself before bed. If you are like most people you will be sore following a massage, but after a day or two, you will feel like a new person. It’s as if you have been cleansed.
I want to add that when you book your session there are different types of massages for various ailments that you may be have offered. Consider your options before booking your appointment. You may want a sports massage if you work out often or something more subtle and soothing to relax. Many spas have wonderful couple’s massages which are fun. The bottom line is you need to do this for yourself. Having a massage on a regular basis will help balance your mental and physical wellbeing. It will also help your relationship if you both get massages on a regular basis. You are just a better person after the old energy is released from your body.
Another way that people’s energy fields are healed today is by the vibrations of music, the harp in particular. When music is played on the harp the vibrations of the harp strings go into the body and balance the ill person’s frequencies. Carol McLaughlin, an award winning professor and healer is in charge of one of the largest harp departments in the world. The renowned concert harpist explains that when someone has an area of weakness in their body, it means that it’s not vibrating at its full frequency. She conducted a healing experiment at a hospital’s ICU unit. She played her harp for a number of patients. The result was an 87% reduction in pain without any change in their medications. It has been documented that she played for a man in a coma and after seven minutes he took off his breathing mask and said, “thank you”. Another patient was ready to go into hospice but after hearing her play the music, his doctor canceled the plans as the patient’s vital signs had improved dramatically. We should all have a harp that we could play to keep us healthy and vibrant.
An International Harp Therapy program that trains and certifies its practitioners to heal with the harp is established today. Now that’s amazing! This demonstrates the miraculous healing that occurs when your energy fields are out of balance. Music is healing to the soul for all of us. I know that when I listen to an upbeat song on the radio it makes me feel energized and happy. The vibrations of music have been healing us for centuries and continues to do so today. The harp in mentioned in the Bible 66 times.

Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing him a new song, play skillfully, and shout for joy. For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.
