Faith Works

There have been quite a few books written about faith. I am working on one now that tells the true life story of how faith has really worked for me. When I was in my twenties I was so busy trying to live my life that I did not seem to have time to think about faith, or what it really is to have faith or have a good relationship with God.  But let me tell you, as time has passed and I lived life I came to understand that if you believe, I mean really believe that God will help you, he will.  As I write what has happened in my life it has become so clear to me how faith works. Why did I not realize it sooner?

Like most people I got  caught up in my everyday life. I only prayed when something really went wrong not daily as I do today. When you have faith in God and ask him for help you may not always get what you ask for, you may get something even better!

Now just so you know I have done allot of things wrong in my life, I have made many mistakes, I am far from perfect. But even though I am not perfect when I needed God he was there for me. he must have forgiven me for the mistakes I made along the way.  Sometimes I needed money or a friend or just a small miracle and every time I believed, I mean really believed that God would help me, and he has.  God came through with flying colors ever single time. After a while you start to believe. How could you not?  And let me tell you it is hard to believe in something or someone you cannot see.  But when you do and you see the results it will start to be easy for you to be faithful. You start to understand that you may not know the best thing for you but God does. That s what I mean when I say you may not get exactly what you were looking for, you may get something better that you have ever imagined possible.  Trust me it has happened for me.

Hebrews 11:1  Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

God Bless
